new album: Masta Killa - ‘Made in Brooklyn’

This album is a recent download of mine, and it’s ended up in major rotation on my iPod. Despite being a bit of a lesser known Wu-Tang member, MK shows some serious prowess on tracks like ‘Street Corner’ and ‘Iron God Chamber’. Guest appearances by MF Doom, Ghostface Killa, Raekwon, and Pete Rock make this a very solid album. Despite a few tracks that don’t really do much for me (’Older Gods Part 2′, and the oddly out-of-place reggae dance hallish ‘Lovely Lady’), I’d still give this one 4 out of 5 stars.

You can pick up a hard copy at Amazon.com, of course, or download from emusic.com.
