an excellent use for s3
tonight i’m using that atrocity facebook to waste some time and try to collect gold coins or score hit points or whatever the hell you’re supposed to do on there (troll for seventeen year olds?). amidst a virtual sea of random shout outs and shameless plugs, i find anywhere.fm, an upload-and-listen-to-and share-your-and-your-friends-music-from-anywhere kind of deal. the storage end of it is built on Amazon Simple Storage Service. i can now rest peacefully knowing that amazon’s data centers haven’t just been getting filled with r. kelly’s child pornography collection.
